You may have heard “the wealth of the wicked is saved up for the righteous.” You may have heard about the “hundred-fold blessing”. You may have heard that God wants the FIRST ten-percent of your income. You may have made large or small faith-promise pledges-

So why haven’t you received YOUR blessing yet?

I WANT TO SEE YOU BLESSED!

Why, Brother David, do you want to see me blessed? Because God’s way of kingdom development is for YOU to be blessed, for you to bless His work, for Him to bless you more, and for His work thru you & me to grow. It starts as a small seed, even as tiny as a mustard seed, then it grows to become a big blessing to all who need it.

Make sure you follow His plan.

To become an heir of God & joint-heir with Christ is not difficult. You must believe that God is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. If we diligently seek Him, we soon learn that we fall way short of His Glory and His plan for us. That’s when we come to Him in faith believing. When we do the first works of repentance and baptism, He comes to live in us and do that which we cannot do for ourselves. If we abide in Him and His Word abides in us, we can ask what we will and have it done unto us.

But Brother David, I’ve done all that & I’m still not blessed.

God’s word says that He wants us to prosper and be in health, even as our soul prospers. Maybe you need to spend a little time making sure your soul prospers. Do you spend time with God in prayer and studying His word. Do you relax with Godly books, music, movies or are you just wrapped up in this life. Growing your soul will reap you returns in this life and in the one to come.

YOU DON”T UNDERSTAND--

I’m a believer, I’ve followed Christ in obedience, AND I’ve given to His work until I’m all given out.

Oh, really?

God has promised to bless you, you have walked in the light of His word in obedience, living a Christian life, giving to ministers, ministries, and churches. Did God lie? My Bible says “Let God be true and every man a liar.”

AND THAT’S THE PROBLEM.

The Old Testament book of Haggai says “You have sown much and bring in little; ye eat but ye have not enough; ye drink but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages, earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.”

Your Blessing keeps slipping away thru the holes!

God never intended for His money to be put into luxurious appointments for ministers and ministries who lie saying that the money is going into God’s work when actually it is buying $100,000 automobiles, million dollar homes, corporate jets, and even being put into un-Godly investment schemes. God will not give you more to waste working against His kingdom.

HERE’S THE SOLUTION

Yes, this is where I ask you to support my work. Almost every day, I receive urgent appeals for help from pastors around the world. Pastors who operate orphanages, ministries, outreaches and churches with little or no support. One couple had two orphanages, several mission churches, and a Bible school which was supported by little more than a flock of chickens…until the chickens got sick and died. Indigent pastors who are asking for Bibles and study materials. These are pastors who would rather go hungry than let the little ones entrusted to them go without.

I DO NOT NEED YOUR MONEY!

I have two cars, a ‘93 Chevy Cavalier and a ‘97 Cadillac. I have a comfortable small apartment. I have more than enough to eat, and a closet full of clothes. And we have an income for life without any help from anyone else.

Your offering goes only toward our outreaches and pastors around the world.

You get as much “bang for the buck” in this ministry as in any I know. Your money will not be wasted but will actually be used to do God’s work both here and around the world.

A WORD FROM BISHOP DAVID HOLDRIDGE:

Lest there be any confusion, I wish to make it perfectly clear that I believe in the gifts of the Holy Ghost and the operation of faith. I highly respect Benny Hinn and Kenneth E. Hagin for their contributions to the body of Christ worldwide.

Bro. Hinn is being used mightily to bring many to our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ worldwide thru his meetings which are moving in the presence of God and minister to persons of many different backgrounds. He does not take a position in the "worship wars" but rather lets his services be "all things to all people" that by any means God might save some.

Bro Kenneth E. Hagin has likewise made great contributions to the body of Christ thru his teaching. I do not claim to have read or to have listened to all of his teaching, but I have found that he would tell you where he found what he was teaching in the Bible and in study helps. One can learn much by reading his material and doing one's own in depth studies. I have to agree with Bro. Hagin's contention that many Christians do not have the sense that God gave to a cow: " to eat the straw and spit out the sticks." As to the many teachers who have followed after him, I cannot say that they are anywhere near as grounded in the Word or in any traditional study of it. I do not dimiss all of them as "off" neither do I endorse them all.

As to the many "discernment teachers" , "heresy hunters" , and critics, it is my duty to caution anyone naming the name of Christ to not slander his brother or sister with lies, misstatements, and misrepresentations. One needs to check his or her own walk with Christ especially before joining with atheists, illusionists, and freethinkers in attacking men & women called & sent forth by God.
